Last week Aura Leisure was delighted to announce that we have won the contract to manage the new Lucan Leisure Campus.
In case you missed the announcement here’s a quick rundown of what it means for Aura Leisure, as well as Lucan and the surrounding area.
Following a public tender issued by South Dublin County Council, Aura Leisure won the contract which allows us to manage the new €20 million Lucan Leisure Campus, which is nearing completion as we speak.
The campus is located at Griffeen Valley Park, Lucan, and will consist of a new state of the art public swimming pool and fitness gym, as well as a health suite, café, and exercise studios. Combining to make this another facility we are massively proud to be able to manage.
At present we have 10 Aura Leisure centres spread across the country, making this the 11th on our portfolio. However, The Aura Holohan Group also entails 5 Anytime Fitness Clubs in Ireland, along with the hugely impressive DKIT Sport complex in Dundalk. Through these centres, we already employ over 400 staff, and can’t wait to build on this number through our latest addition.
Earlier this year, we were announced as the 11th Best Large Workplace in Ireland, and at present we are the only fitness operator to be included on the Best Workplaces in Ireland listing.
The confirmation of our centre in Lucan means that we will be expanding our workforce in the near future and looking for new members to our team.
