Full Time Swim Coordinator AURA Drogheda

This role will primarily involve working as a team leader to drive service excellence and manage day to day operations of the Aura Swim Academy. You will be responsible for the coordination and programming of all pool activity, including management of swimming teachers, marketing of the programmes, and management of relationships with local groups and clubs.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake and co-ordinate local marketing activities to ensure the maximum potential capacity of each Swim Academy level and term is reached
  • Maintain strong relationships with local groups and clubs
  • Manage relationships with schools participating in the Schools Swimming Programme
  • Liaise and communicate with parents
  • Manage the booking process
  • Work with the Operations Manager to recruit, manage and develop swimming teachers and lifeguards
  • Supervise, monitor and evaluate each of Aura’s swim programmes and ensure high level of teaching as per the curriculum
  • Attend regular meetings with other Swim Co-ordinators within the group to maintain effective delivery of all of Aura’s swim programmes.
  • Contribute to a strong working team and build team morale.
  • Ensure all report cards, certificates and paperwork relating to the swim academy  are completed within the necessary timeframe
  • Co-ordinate swim academy in order to maintain quality delivery of the programme.

Human Resources Generalist

Primary role:

To provide a comprehensive HR Generalist service to the business. You will have daily interaction with employees and managers from all aspects of the business, and you will be first line support across a broad range of HR practices, initiatives and improvement measures.

General duties:

  • Be an ambassador for the Great Places to Work Programme and promote and drive a positive company culture, and optimise employee engagement

Scope of the role:

This role will primarily involve working as a team member to drive Aura’s Fitness Experience and service excellence by building and developing member relationships, taking ownership and responding to member’s queries and continuously looking for opportunities to improve Aura’s service to our members.  The Fitness Instructor will work closely with all staff to ensure we are meeting the specific needs of our individual members, promoting the Aura brand and achieving our goals.

Scope of the role is as follows:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate staff on an ongoing basis ensuring that all areas of the facility are adequately staffed at all times and staff are carrying out their duties as expected
