Part Time Regional Accountant – Work from Home role

We are looking for an experienced Regional Accountant on a Part Time basis to join our team at Aura. This is a work from home role which also offers flexible working hours. The successful candidate will have the option to work either 3 full days a week or spread the hours over 5 days.

Working from home, you will provide the processing and reporting of management accounts for multiple sites withing the Aura Group.

Your key activities as a Regional Accountant will include:

  • Maintaining the Exchequer accounts system for the sites in your allocated region
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheets, and supporting schedules for all sites in your region
  • Processing the Creditor invoices and preparation of invoice payments, as well as reconciling creditors statements to our records
  • Overseeing the preparation of Debtor invoices and following up on payments
  • Payroll duties – processing payrolls as appropriate, issuing payslips, updating staff master-list and processing company starters and leavers
  • Filing invoices, bank statements, creditor statements as required
  • Conducting cash audits on all sites within your region, to ensure all cash procedures are being followed
  • Preparation of weekly income reports for each site
  • Managing the cash flow for each site
  • Actively initiating the implementation of Best Financial Control practice across all sites within your region

The above is not an exhaustive list of Regional Accountant duties and you will be required to undertake any other tasks as requested.

  • A recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CAI etc.)
  • Experience of working in a similar role is desirable
