Saturday May 6th saw the return of Ireland’s brilliant Darkness Into Light campaign for Pieta.
Each year communities around Ireland come together to walk, jog, run or swim a distance to raise awareness and funds surrounding suicide and self-harm prevention.
On Saturday two of our centres hosted events to help support this great cause. Aura Grove Island held Swim or Spin Into Light activities beginning at 4:15 am.
Meanwhile, Aura De Paul was home to swimmers looking to support the campaign with a number of people turning up in the early hours of the morning to complete lengths of the pool.
We are delighted to have been able to support this great cause and will continue to help raise awareness and funds for Pieta through our Darkness Into Light campaigns in the future.
