The Boyne Swim 2023 in association with Aura Leisure is set to take place this weekend and will begin the Walking Festival in Drogheda.
This edition of the Boyne Swim commences at 12:55pm on Saturday September 16th, with the eagerly anticipated event being the first of many over the coming days in Drogheda.
The Boyne Swim is 2.7km in distance and starts in Mell Drogheda, and finishes at the Boyne Irishman Boathouse on the Marsh Road, with contestants from all around the country expected on the day to take on the challenge.
As mentioned above the swim is the opener to a jam-packed few days in Drogheda, as their Walking Festival takes place.
There is something for everyone over from Saturday the 16th of September with Heritage Walks, Urban Art Trails, John Jameson Whiskey Tour of Drogheda, Family Fantasy Walking Tour and much more across the festival.
