Aura Tullamore took home first place in Aura’s annual Swim Competition which took place in Aura Navan on Thursday August 22nd, 2024.
The competition involves all 10 of our Aura centres from across the country sending swim-based staff to compete in a series of swimming challenges.
There are a total of 10 events held on the day with a mix of individual and team challenges, all of which contribute to a centre’s final score depending on their finish in each contest.
Despite an incredibly close competition it was Aura Tullamore who picked up first-place on the day, with Aura Drogheda coming in second, and Aura Dundalk making up the podium spots in third.
Meanwhile, there was a first in this year’s competition as an award was handed out to the best supporters on the day, which went to Aura De Paul, who had a helping hand from mascot Finn the Fish.
Every year the event is filled with competitiveness and fun, as all our centres go head-to-head to claim top spot.
It is an opportunity for teams from all over Ireland to come together, catch-up with friends, and discuss ideas about everything swimming across the Aura Group.
As well as this it is a great day for building team morale and to have fun as mentioned above.
All of these events are held to help our staff learn from one another, develop new skills, gain knowledge in key areas of their roles, and to foster a positive working culture within the company. The events go hand-in-hand with our mission to provide the best services we possibly can in each of our centres daily.
Congratulations to our new Swim Competition champions Aura Tullamore and a massive shoutout to every centre that took part as each one of you put in a fantastic performance on the day.
We are already looking forward to seeing who will be crowned champions in 2025.
