Aura Navan claimed first place in Aura’s annual Swim Masterclass which took place in Aura Navan on Friday August 22nd, 2025.
The competition involves all 11 of our Aura centres from across the country sending swim-based staff to compete in multiple swimming challenges.
There are a total of 10 events held on the day with a mix of individual and team challenges, all of which contribute to a centre’s final score depending on their finish in each contest.
It was a hard-fought competition, but it was Aura Navan who picked up top spot, pipping Aura Dundalk as well as Aura Drogheda to the title, who finished second and third respectively.
Elsewhere, Aura De Paul, held on to the award of Best Supporters on the day, an award which was introduced last year, with the help of a number of incredible mascot outfits, banners, and more, while Aura Trim came second, with Aura Letterkenny placing third.
Each year the event is filled with competitiveness and fun, as all our centres go head-to-head to claim top spot, with a huge amount of support being shown throughout every centre.
It is an opportunity for our teams from all over Ireland to come together, catch-up with friends, and discuss ideas about everything swimming across the Aura Group.
As well as this it is a great day for building team morale and to have fun as mentioned above.
All of these events are hosted to help our staff learn from one another, develop new skills, gain knowledge in key areas of their roles, and to foster a positive working culture within the company. The events go hand-in-hand with our mission to provide the best services we possibly can in each of our centres daily and allow staff to develop within their respective roles.
Congratulations to our new Swim Competition champions Aura Navan and a massive shoutout to every centre that took part as each one of you put in a fantastic performance on the day.
We are already looking forward to seeing who will pick up the crown of champions in 2026.
