Aura Holohan Group’s Digital Champion Workshop was hosted in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise, on Thursday May 11th, 2023.
The group’s workshop saw members of staff from both Aura Leisure and Anytime Fitness come together from all over the country to pick up some top tips and tricks on social media throughout the day.
Each of our centre’s has a Digital Champion, which gives them the position of looking after their centre’s local social media content output.
This year the company’s marketing team coordinated a workshop for the Digital Champions in which the theme was “Content is King”.
The workshop itself was broken down into sections covering areas like how to capture a good photo/video, to paid digital advertising, to text copy creation, and beyond.
Guest speaker Declan Clancy from E-Presence in Cork spoke through why content is king in terms of local content and also how paid digital advertising works, as well as the benefits local content can have on this.
The goal of the workshop was to try and provide the Digital Champions with the skills and knowledge to produce the highest quality digital content on social media going forward, along with building ideas for new content being generated on the day.
Each attendee also received a couple of goodies to go home with as well as some equipment to help them with content production in their local centre.
Overall, the day was a great success and as always it was fantastic to have members of staff from all over the island in one room.
