Boxing Champions Visit Aura Tullamore

Aura Tullamore was delighted to welcome National Boxing Champions Grainne Walsh and Paul Loonam to their centre yesterday.

Fresh off the back of their impressive victories at the Elite All Ireland Championships over the weekend, Walsh and Loonam met with the staff of the centre and showed off their new silverware.

Walsh pulled off the surprise of the night on Saturday, defeating world and European champion Amy Broadhurst to be crowned Irish National Champion in the women’s 66kg division, which has raised hopes over her qualification to the Paris Olympics in 2024.
