Aura Holohan Group’s 2025 GEM Award Winners Confirmed

Aura Holohan Group celebrated their annual GEM awards on Monday March 30th in the CityNorth Hotel.

GEM stands for “Going the Extra Mile” at Aura and each year staff members from across the country are recognised for their outstanding work while exemplifying our core company values.

The annual awards are attended by any staff nominated by fellow staff members throughout the year for their amazing work across the Aura Holohan Group, which includes Aura Leisure, DKIT Sport, and Anytime Fitness Ireland.

Everyone nominated is believed to have displayed true reflection of one or more of our core values during 2025.

During our annual event there was some fun created by caricature artist, Ken Coogan, who encouraged staff to come over and get a cartoon version of themselves drawn up.

Each of our eight winners picked up a certificate from Founder and Executive Chairman of the Aura Holohan Group Gar Holohan, with some winners that couldn’t make it on the day being represented by another member of their local team.

We would like to congratulate, not only our winners, but every one of our staff who received nominations throughout the year, as they continue to showcase our company values every day.

Meanwhile, several centres and staff were recognised for their outstanding achievements throughout the year, receiving special awards for their efforts.
