The Aura Holohan Group is delighted to announce that it has picked up two awards as the NISO/NISG held their annual All Ireland Safety Awards ceremony in The Great Southern Hotel, Killarney on Friday 11th October 2024.
At this year’s awards ceremony Aura Leisure won two Category 1 awards. These Awards included the Exceptional High Achiever Award which was awarded to only 18 organisations across the island of Ireland and the coveted National Winner of the Sport & Leisure Award.
The Group which operates in sport & leisure facility management, architecture, consultancy and event management includes 10 Aura Leisure Centres nationwide, 5 Anytime Fitness Clubs in Dublin, Kildare and Cork, 1 DKIT Sport in Dundalk and the Support Office and Holohan Leisure Consultants in Dublin. The group has won numerous national awards for Disability Inclusion, Health and Safety, Environmental Management and Quality Systems.
Gerard Morgan, Group Health and Safety Manager has been the driving force who has led Aura to achieving this accolade. Gerard coordinates the safety culture across the organisation, supported by Dylan Dunleavy (H&S Officer), a team of Operations Managers and Safety Committees across all of the Aura facilities.

We strive to push an open, and positive safety culture based on mutual trust, engagement and ongoing training across the organisation. These awards recognise our team’s efforts and commitment to enhance further our safety culture.”
