Aura Holohan Group were delighted to host our annual Digital Champion Workshop for 2025 in the CityNorth Hotel on Thursday May 16th.
The workshop is designed to allow all our centres across the Aura Holohan Group (Aura Leisure, DKIT Sport, and Anytime Fitness Ireland) understand the importance of digital content as well as how to produce quality content locally.
Each of our centres has a Digital Champion, meaning that they have the responsibility of looking after their local centre’s content output, which is why we want to provide them with all the tools possible to succeed in their role.
This year the focus was on building and enhancing quality social media accounts through the use of engaging content at a local level using the tools available.
Throughout the day there were practical sessions along with presentations, including a talk from well-renowned photographer, Mark Duffy, who gave a run down on how to go about generating content as well as building confidence within a content creation role through learning the basic skills.
There was also a presentation from Leah Johnson from Anytime Fitness Maynooth, who brilliantly explained how to plan, shoot, and edit content that is attractive to your target audience, emphasizing the point that thinking ahead, while keeping it simple is often the key to success.
Our group marketing team also provided insights on how the social media landscape is currently across the brands, along with the strategy going forward.
Meanwhile each person in attendance got a little digital marketing present to help them with their work going forward.
Overall, it was a fantastic day, with members of staff attending from all over the country, sharing their ideas with one another, and showing lots of enthusiasm for creating content in the future.
