The team from Aura Leisure were delighted to attend the Ireland Active Conference on November 25th.
Ireland Active is the national association for the leisure, health and fitness sectors and represents over 350 publicly and privately owned leisure centres, gyms, swimming pools, fitness education providers and recreation facilities nationwide.
The conference itself contained several speakers from the health and fitness sector and was a good opportunity to connect with others in the leisure industry and to keep up to date with the latest innovations in our sector ensuring that we can provide our members with the highest quality service.
We were showcasing the Aura Fitness Academy and Aura Training Academy at the conference. Aura provides a full range of training courses to the leisure industry including courses in Pool Plant Operations, Pool Water Treatment, Lifeguard training, Swim Teacher training, Manual Handling and First Aid. Our fully qualified and experienced tutors also provide Personal Training and Fitness Instructor courses to those looking to develop their careers in the industry.
While at the conference we held a raffle for a FitBit Charge 5, which was won by John O’Carroll and presented to him by our Marketing Manager George Robinson.
Through these events Aura Leisure seeks to maintain and enhance our mission of trying to create a Healthier and Happier Ireland.
