Course Aim: The Cardiac First Response (CFR) course is a PHECC-approved programme designed to equip learners with the essential skills to respond to life-threatening emergencies, particularly cardiac arrest, until advanced medical help arrives. The course focuses on early recognition of emergencies, high-quality CPR, and the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), in line with current PHECC clinical practice guidelines.
Course Duration: ½ Day
Certification: On successful completion of the course & assessment, candidates will receive the PHECC Cardiac First Response Qualification awarded by Emergency Care.
