Light from the sun is essential for getting a good source of Vitamin D. This means that soaking up some rays will help boost immunity and fight infection; help keep your teeth and bones strong, and promote a healthy heart by supporting your circulation. An adequate level of sunlight also gives us a positive outlook on life.
It releases feel good endorphins and increases serotonin, increasing our senses of feeling alert and productive. Getting plenty of sun can reduce feelings of stress, anxiety and depression and make us feel vitalised.
